Up for sale we have a Big River "WG
Jr."
The body is one beautiful piece of Mahogany from Scott at Sand Hill Customs. This body was prepped; sanded, pore filled and sealed and given four coats of our custom mixed Transparent Oxblood Nitro. From there I used our custom mixed Dark Star Black Nitro to shade around the edges giving this beauty a two toned look, then finished it with seven more coats of clear lacquer. From there it was hung to do its things. When ready it was aged, sanded and buffed to an incredible finish!
The neck on this one is absolutely killer, and the perfect match for this finish. A Rosewood Hombre Style neck, modern tiltback, with a Rosewood fingerboard. This one has a '59 Roundback profile with 22 jumbo Nickel Frets. I finished this neck in clear nitro and buffed it out to an immaculate satin finish! This one plays as good as it looks! Finished it off with a set of DAddarios Auto Trim Locking luners.
I went with a Tonepros 2 TOM/Tail, which is one of my favorites for Tuning Stabilty! This TOM/Tail, along with all of the other hardware was aged to perfection here in our shop.
The Wiring is simple, 1 Volume 1 Tone; 500k CTS Pots, .022 Mallory Mustard Cap, Puretone 4prong jack, Gavitt Cloth Pushback Wire throughout.
A single Lollar Highwind DogEar P90 is the star in this build, clocking in at 9.7k.

Anyway this one is an animal! Super comfy in everyway, plays like a dream, can go from beautifully clean to warthog pissed in the blink of an eye!
